Joyce Grasso

Joyce was raised in Portland, Maine. Settling in Fairfield County, she taught art in the Stamford and Greenwich Public Schools for over 35 years. She has studied at the International Center for Photography, Silvermine School of Art and the Greenwich Art Society.

Throughout her career she has received several awards for her street photography and paintings and most recently exhibited in Art Miami and in May '23 Issue of Architecturaldigest.com. and Maine Home and Design.

Joyce has recently been focused on abstract seacape and modern still life, with bold colors and patterns. Memories of the coast and a strong love of family, food and gardening inspire each series.Her paintings are collected from Maine to California with five of her paintings hanging in the permanent collection at Stamford Hospital.  Joyce is represented by the Portland Art Gallery, Portland, ME.and is a member of the Loft Artists Association in Stamford, CT where she has her studio.
